The Role
The WHS Advisor will be responsible for leading and executing HSE policies and strategy across mechanical and electrical maintenance projects within a government run facility. Main responsibilities will include:
  • Implement and maintain safety compliance for maintenance projects including both in-house and sub-contractor workers
  • Lead hazard, incident and injury reporting & investigations
  • Provide details and extensive reports on safety metrics, performance and non-compliance issues
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory and company safety and environmental requirements.
The Requirement
  • Previous HSE experience, ideally from industrial, construction, defence or heavy based industries
  • Minimum Diploma in WHS qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of injury management, safety compliance, workers compensation processes
  • Exceptional reporting and communication skills
  • Australian citizen
