The FirmOur client is a well-established and highly respected commercial law firm, widely recognised as a leader in the insurance space. They are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Legal Secretary with 3-5 years of experience, ideally within defendant insurance or personal injury law, to join their high-performing team.The RoleIn this role, you will provide vital support to a busy practice with a primary focus on workers' compensation and work injury matters. You'll also have the opportunity to assist with a variety of related files.This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside industry-leading professionals acting for major insurers and self-insured corporations, with strong prospects for professional growth and long-term development within a supportive and progressive environment.On a day-to-day basis, your key responsibilities will include;
  • Liaising with clients and internal staff
  • Preparing legal documents and correspondence
  • Organising and maintaining electronic files
  • Diary and schedule management
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have 3+ years' experience in defendant insurance or similar role and practice area. Broader insurance experience acceptable.The following skills would also be beneficial;
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, demonstrating the ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and perform well under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Public Liability is preferred but not required
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
  • Strong organisation and file management skills
