
Senior Product Manager - Platform Cash & Portfolio SME

- Review and conduct ongoing oversight of investment managers for managed portfolios
- Conduct regular investment due diligence meetings with the current investment managers, including engagement with AMP Investments and governance teams on underlying investments on menu
- Work with the Managed Portfolio product team and distribution to prioritise the new due diligence pipeline (vs ongoing review and cash roles)
- Work with broader investment teams (AMP Investments, investment governance etc) to ensure platform governance continues to be enhanced to respond to evolving governance requirements and approaches
- Report on the current range of manager portfolios for boards
- Manage the platform cash account & cash fees to harness the best rates for our platform
- Prepare board papers regarding investment integrity as it relates to platform cash
- Manage and document all processes and procedures as it relates to the platform working cash account (and the underlying suppliers)
- Extensive experience, 8+ years' working in relevant professional role working across investment research and/or due diligence in a financial service industry and driving a collaborative, high performance culture
- Proven experience responding to an evolving regulatory environment
- Experience working across multiple projects and working in a project environment
- Competent understanding and experience of wealth management and end to end business operations
- Intermediate to advanced technical experience in portfolio construction experience
- Intermediate to advanced technical experience in cash and liquidity management products
- Experience in identifying, assessing and addressing operational risk
- Understanding of competitors propositions and Superannuation/Investment industry trends, as they relate to the wealth management, in particular platforms environment
- Understanding of the regulatory and compliance regime for financial services
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications or preparedness to undergo studies in business or finance desirable
