Role & Responsibilities:
The Salesforce Technical Functional Analyst role will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical delivery, ensuring scalable, compliant, and high-performing Salesforce solutions.
  • Functional Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed user stories, process flows, and solution designs.
  • Conduct workshops and interviews with Superannuation Insurance domain experts to align Salesforce capabilities with industry-specific needs.
  • Function as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Salesforce Platform Expertise:
  • Design and configure solutions using Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, including clients/household/related data models, and financial account structures.
  • Leverage Marketing Cloud for customer journey mapping, campaign automation, and personalized communications.
  • Ensure compliance with APRA and other relevant data regulatory frameworks in solution design.
  • Technical Analysis & Integration:
  • Collaborate with Salesforce developers and architects to define technical specifications and integration patterns.
  • Support the design and implementation of MuleSoft APIs for seamless integration with core Superannuation systems (e.g., registry platforms, CRMs, data warehouses).
  • Conduct impact analysis and data mapping for legacy system migration.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance:
  • Define and execute functional test cases and support UAT activities.
  • Validate data integrity and system behaviour across integrated platforms.
  • Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
  • Documentation & Governance:
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including solution designs, configuration guides, and integration specifications.
  • Support change management and release planning processes.
  • Contribute to governance frameworks and best practices for Salesforce platform usage.

Essential Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or Technical Analyst.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Marketing Cloud in Superannuation enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of Superannuation industry processes, products, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and API-led integration.
  • Proficiency in Agile delivery methodologies and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
Desirable Experience:
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, FSC Consultant, Marketing Cloud Consultant).
  • Experience in data migration and transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in Sales
Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
