
Men's Behaviour Change Practitioner

- Provide Men’s Behaviour Change interventions (in-person) including assessment and case coordination to meet NSW practice standards.
- Provide timely, trauma and DFV informed progress interviews, contracting and exit planning to ensure safety and accountability.
- Provision of various group work facilitation to men.
- Ensure safety standards are maintained for self and all hazards and incidents are reported within appropriate timeframes.
- Ensure administrative and reporting responsibilities are maintained.
- Tertiary qualification in Counselling, Social Work, Welfare, Psychology, or equivalent qualifications.
- Demonstrated experience in group work facilitation
- Relevant registrations (or working towards) with peak bodies such as ACA, PACFA, AASW. or APHRA.
- Proven and demonstrated knowledge and experience of working with families experiencing DV within the dynamics of family systems to transition from trauma to safety and recovery.
- Experience in responding to men who have used violence
- Ability to demonstrate networking and advocacy skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage crisis or safety situations and make sound decisions under pressure.
- A valid NSW Driveru0027s Licence and insured vehicle.
