EBB is responsible for the end-to-end management of Deposit & Transactions, Payments Acceptance, and Health products. In addition, EBB is responsible for the delivery of business customers lifecycle management, cross-cutting initiatives, and working to support Banker’s in developing Transaction Banking client solutions to customers.See yourself in the team:Our team is the Payment Acceptance Centre of Excellence Pricing, Risk & Scheme Compliance team, and we are responsible for:driving and executing acquiring pricing strategymanaging merchant risk and fraudmanaging forward delivery riskhandling pricing issues and incidentsmanaging scheme and PCI compliance andbeing the business owner for acquiring pricing and billing systemsregulatory reporting for acquiringThe role will have responsibility to support and manage merchant and product (e.g. ecommerce, terminals etc.) compliance risk for Payment Acceptance. Your primary contributions will be to address scheme (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, eftpos, China UnionPay etc.), Industry (e.g. AusPayNet) and regulatory (e.g. RBA, ATO, ACCC etc..) requirements and compliance related risk, control gaps, and be the central point of contact for Schemes and internal stakeholders for all Scheme and Merchants regulatory related compliance enquiries, requests and escalations.Your day could look like but not limited to:Support all activities required to manage merchant compliance who serve as a primary point of contact to assist product owners, frontline teams and other internal stakeholders on and compliance related matters, research requests and reportingContribute and influence the development of merchant acquiring regulatory/ policy related matters, managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders and maintain industry knowledge through participation in relevant workshops, professional development programs, and effective industry networkingManage compliance to new and existing scheme mandates, conduct impact analysis, monitor changes for Merchant Solutions implications and recommend course of action to senior management and product ownersIdentify any possible breaches, investigate, assess, and manage incidents and breaches and work with stakeholders to improve processes and strengthen controlsDemonstrate understanding of applicable laws, regulations, policies and proceduresWork with Product Owners to develop, maintain and publish applicable business artefacts including guidance documents, policies, gap analysis documentation, relevant matrixes, impact assessment, high-level timelines and any other applicable business artefactsIdentify relevant stakeholders, select appropriate techniques and processes to derive and manage merchant compliance requirementsIdentify commercial opportunities with card schemes including scheme fee cost savings and reconciliation of billing.What successful candidates will look like?We work in an outcomes driven environment, where the emphasis is on great team-work to achieve results. Ideally you will bring experience with knowledge of risk and compliance, gained within financial services.
