Civeo is seeking a dedicated Food Safety Advisor to champion our Food Safety Program and drive excellence in compliance, assurance, and capability development.About the RoleAs our Food Safety Advisor, you'll play a key role in implementing and continuously improving our Food Safety Management System. You'll work closely with Village Operations to ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and customer expectations-ultimately safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our guests and staff.5-2 roster - some travel will be requiredKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver food safety and hygiene training to site teamsSupport catering and site managers in applying food safety requirementsPromote awareness and escalate food safety issues across all levelsMonitor compliance to meet customer expectationsProvide expert advice on food safety mattersDevelop and maintain food safety documentation and training materialsConduct internal audits and support third-party inspectionsLead assurance activities and food safety investigationsPerform microbiological sampling and testingReport on system performance and recommend improvementsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiencyTake on additional responsibilities aligned with the role's scope and seniorityQualifications & ExperienceTertiary qualification in Food Science, Microbiology, Environmental Health, or related fieldMinimum 3 years' experience in hospitality, food safety, or quality assuranceStrong knowledge of microbiology, food safety controls, and legislationExperience with HACCP / ISO 22000 and internal auditsSkilled in training deliveryDesirable:Internal Auditor certificationSkills & AttributesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong facilitation and coaching abilitiesDetail-oriented with solid time managementProficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new systemsProfessional presentation and ability to work independentlyWhy Join Us?At Civeo, you'll be part of a supportive team committed to high standards and continuous improvement.
