The senior Occupational Therapist role will provide leadership and guidance to the team as well as providing a high level interventions for our clients. The position is based in the St George Mental Health Centre where the acute inpatient unit is located. - Extensive post graduate clinical experience in Mental Health Occupational Therapy
- Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills, including the ability to interact constructively with all stakeholders.
- Ability to provide in-depth advice and education to enhance service delivery.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and to apply advanced reasoning skills.
- Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated commitment to consumer participation and recovery focus
- Current New South Wales driver's licence.
