- Conduct thorough market and competitive analysis to identify potential business opportunities.
- Collaborate with various departments, such as sales, marketing, programs and product development, to ensure a cohesive approach to capturing new business.
- Oversee the bid process, from pre-solicitation through proposal submission, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and deadlines.
- Assist negotiation efforts with clients and partners to secure contracts that align with business goals.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of capture strategies and processes, making adjustments as needed to improve future outcomes.
- To prepare and present bid proposals and opportunities to executives and to manage through the stage gate /approval process.
- Develop, maintain and manage standard bid and offer documentation and supporting artefacts.

- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in project management or a similar field are advantageous.
- Proven ability in delivering winning, high-value product or services opportunities. Experience in solution selling and bid management from opportunity identification through to project delivery.
- Strong people management, commercial skills, and the ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. Excellent communication skills and comfort working at CEO/Director level (internal and external customers).
- Familiarity with the competitive marketplace, internal governance procedures, and legislation around the use of AI in bid management.
