Working on a large-scale SAP implementation program the right candidate will have extensive experience as a Master Scheduler and will have worked on complex ERP programs, ideally SAP.Key accountabilities:
- Provide expert guidance on scheduling for complex IT projects, ensuring the effective development, coordination, and management of scheduling practices.
- Build and maintain integrated master schedules, actively managing scope, dependencies, and progress tracking to support seamless execution.
- Define and standardise planning frameworks to enable milestone aggregation and interdependency visibility across the portfolio.
- Lead strategic prioritisation and delivery efforts, ensuring optimal resource allocation and timely mobilisation of initiatives.
- Deliver actionable insights into project performance, recommending strategic adjustments to drive successful execution and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with the PMO and key stakeholders to enhance scheduling methodologies, improve reporting mechanisms, and align scheduling practices with organisational goals.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies in scheduling models and processes, leveraging industry best practices and data-driven insights to optimise efficiency and project outcomes.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with cross-functional teams, facilitating transparency, alignment, and proactive resolution of scheduling challenges.
- Extensive experience with scheduling tools, ideally MS Project
- Proven expertise in the development and implementation of Scheduling Standards
- Previous experience working on ERP programs, ideally SAP
- Demonstrated capability in facilitating planning workshops to evaluate implementation timelines, identify interdependencies, and optimise scheduling outcomes.
- Ability to cultivate and maintain stakeholder relationships and foster cross-team collaboration
- Ability to deliver high-level advice, detailed reporting, and strategic insights on status, deliverable progress, risks, issues, and constraints.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The role will pay a competitive day rate, circa $1000 - $1100 / day and will commence ASAP.
