- Advise People Leaders to enable and support them to effectively manage their people through org change, performance management, conduct matters and general employee relations.
- Build strong, collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support and manage a range of ER matters, end to end, including some that are complex in nature
- Utilise and champion the use of data, quantitative and qualitative, to guide decision making
- Support leaders and employees in the interpretation and adherence to awards and agreements
- Contribute to and/or lead process improvement initiatives to optimise the leader and employee experience.
- Support the functional area with key People & Culture cyclical activities, i.e. Talent & Succession, Annual Reward Review and Employee Engagement and Pulse Surveys including action planning
- Assist in the review and implementation of People policies and procedures and provide guidance to employees and leaders on application.
- Analyse people trends and metrics and recommend actions - and support future workforce planning strategies and requirements.
- Coach and support our People Leaders in resolving employee grievances
- Assist in change management processes and culture transformation efforts.
- Support the Heads of People with ad hoc HR administration that sit outside the scope of the People Operations team
- Demonstrated experience in a Generalist/HR Advisor role (minimum of 5 years) with a sound knowledge of contemporary HR practices.
- Solid experience managing employee relations including performance management and disciplinary processes, preferably in a fast paced and high-volume environment e.g. contact centres.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply relevant workplace legislation, providing advice to management and employees.
- Excellent coaching skills at both an organisational and individual level.
- Sound project management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
