- Provide expert advice and guidance to program teams and Participants on family, domestic, and sexual violence matters, including risk assessment and safety planning.
- Work directly with Participants and families experiencing FDSV, supporting their safety, stability, and wellbeing through person-centred case management.
- Collaborate with case managers and frontline staff to build knowledge and skills in responding to FDSV and supporting Participants effectively.
- Develop, deliver, and maintain resources, training, and programs that increase understanding of FDSV for staff, Participants, and the community.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external service providers, and community stakeholders to enhance outcomes for Participants.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on program outcomes, contributing to continuous improvement, quality assurance, and compliance with relevant frameworks and legislation.
- Advocate for Participants’ needs, represent Mission Australia at interagency meetings, and participate in community networks to strengthen partnerships and supports.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in social work, community services, or a related field, with experience in family, domestic, and sexual violence.
- Strong knowledge of FDSV dynamics, drivers, and impacts, including trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and intersectional approaches.
- Experience in providing person-centred case management and developing safety plans for Participants experiencing complex needs.
- Proven ability to collaborate across multi-site programs, building relationships with internal teams, Participants, and external stakeholders.
- Experience delivering training, workshops, or resources to build staff and community capacity in responding to FDSV.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills, with the ability to provide guidance and support to team members.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, including experience with administrative tasks, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Essential certifications: Working with Children Check, valid Driver’s License, and current First Aid and CPR.
