An exciting short-term opportunity is available for an experienced People & Culture Generalist to join the team on a contract through to Christmas, with potential for review closer to the time. This hands-on role will see you provide operational HR support across the business, ensuring smooth processes and compliance while working closely with leaders and employees.Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from drafting advertisements through to offers and onboarding.
  • Overseeing HRIS management and completing transactional HR tasks as needed.
  • Providing timely and practical advice to stakeholders on a range of People & Culture matters, including award interpretation, rostering, performance management, and return-to-work processes.
  • Supporting the development and review of position descriptions and other HR documentation.
Your Skills & Experience:We are seeking a confident and capable HR professional with:
  • Previous experience in a generalist HR or People & Culture role.
  • Strong knowledge of award interpretation, performance management processes, and HR compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Experience in HRIS management and transactional HR activities.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the business.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field will be highly regarded.
