Job Description:The CompanyWe are partnering with a well-known organisation who are seeking a Finance Officer to join their transactional team on a temporary basis for up to 8 months. With a strong presence in their industry, this organisation offers a collaborative team culture and the chance to be part of a busy, supportive finance function.*This role requires an immediate start*The RoleReporting to senior finance leaders, this role will be responsible for delivering end-to-end support across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other transactional finance functions. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing across a wide range of activities, while contributing to month-end and assisting the broader finance team where required.Key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable function including invoice processing, payment runs, and reconciliations
  • Handling Accounts Receivable duties such as billing, receipting, and account reconciliations
  • Preparing superannuation submissions and processing journals
  • Assisting with month-end close across multiple transactional streams
  • Responding to internal and external queries
Your Profile
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a finance or transactional role
  • Strong reconciliation and processing skills across AP and AR
  • Proficiency with finance system TechnologyOne will be highly regarded (not essential)
  • High attention to detail, numeracy skills, and the ability to work to deadlines
