Today, you'll see Laminex on surfaces everywhere: in hospitals, shopping centres, restaurants, and homes.Your Opportunity: Warehouse Manager (Launceston Hub Manager)Our Tasmania distribution hub, located in Launceston, is one of 14 key warehouse / distribution sites across Australia and plays a vital role in our national warehouse and international supply chain.We're looking for a leader with at least 3 years of experience managing small to medium warehouse environments. As Warehouse Manager, you'll oversee and coordinate all aspects of our Launceston Distribution Hub, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient daily operations.Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Manage site distribution, warehouse operations, Truck and Forklift fleet, suppliers, property, and inventory control to meet KPIs and budget targets while ensuring a high level of EHS compliance.
  • Safety Leadership: Champion safety and wellbeing, ensuring compliance with legislation, company policies, and AS-45001 standards.
  • Team Management: Lead, coach, and mentor your team, driving people development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive site and process improvement projects using our Supply Chain Excellence Framework and adopt new technologies to maintain industry-leading service standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the regional services manager, broader supply chain, customer service, and local sales representatives to meet service commitments.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience managing and coaching staff within a warehouse environment (min. 2 years' exp. as a warehouse manager)
  • Strong understanding of small to medium warehousing and distribution environments
  • LF Forklift Licence - highly desirable
  • MR or HR Truck Licence - highly desirable
  • Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience managing EHS and COR in line with policy and legislation
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and a customer-first approach
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
