We employ more than 1,800 staff across 12 office locations in Australia, delivering projects in commercial office buildings, shopping centres, hospitals, public infrastructure, defence facilities, schools, convention centres, and more.The Opportunity – Junior Electrical EstimatorWe’re looking for a motivated and detail-driven Junior Estimator to join our Queensland Commercial Construction team at our Eight Mile Plains office. This role is perfect for someone with electrical industry experience who is eager to grow their expertise and gain hands-on exposure to large-scale tendering in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates and coordinating tenders for major electrical and communications projects.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across Electrical, ICT, and High Voltage (HV) services.
Interpret technical specifications and drawings to contribute to tender planning and execution.
Help develop competitive, compliant submissions tailored to client needs.
Use estimating tools such as Conest (or similar), Microsoft Excel, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (preferred).
Contribute to client presentations and ensure timely delivery of all documentation.
Build strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.

What You’ll Bring

Prior experience in the electrical or building services industry.
Exposure to project management or supervisory roles (advantageous).
An understanding of major tendering procedures and contractual documentation.
Ability to read and interpret technical plans and multidisciplinary documentation (architectural, civil, services, etc.).
Familiarity with Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC), and sustainability principles.
Strong organisational, analytical, and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (highly regarded).
A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
