- Prepare and deliver accurate cost estimates and detailed tender submissions for electrical and communications projects.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary tenders including Electrical, ICT, and High Voltage systems.
- Review project specifications and contract documentation to guide tender strategy.
- Present tenders confidently to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Mentor and support junior estimators to build team capability.
- Manage deadlines and ensure timely, high-quality submissions.
- Utilise industry-standard tools including Conest (or equivalent), Excel, Autodesk Construction Cloud (preferred), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical/comms estimating within commercial construction.
- Proven track record in estimating major electrical, communications, and HV projects.
- Strong understanding of contracts, procurement processes, and project delivery.
- Ability to manage budgets and produce detailed financial reports.
- High-level competency in interpreting multidisciplinary drawings, specs, and technical documentation.
- In depth knowledge of Australian Standards, National Construction Code, and sustainable building practices.
- Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering.
- Qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management (highly regarded).
