Full-time | Based in Melbourne | Salary + Super + Salary Packaging AvailableOur client is an RTO that delivers training for Aboriginal health and wellbeing in Victoria. They are committed to strengthening the health and healing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities through culturally safe education, advocacy, and leadership.We are seeking a passionate and skilled Educator to deliver accredited health training to Aboriginal students in Melbourne and across Victoria. This role is central to ensuring learners are supported to achieve success in their studies while strengthening the Aboriginal health workforce.About the Role
As an Educator, you will:
  • Deliver high-quality, culturally safe training and assessment in health programs
  • Ensure compliance with all VET, ASQA, and funding body requirements
  • Support students both inside and outside of the classroom to achieve strong completion rates
  • Maintain accurate training records and provide timely reporting on student progression
  • Contribute to the development, validation, and improvement of accredited health programs
  • Collaborate with in-classroom mentors, compliance staff, and other team members to create an engaging and supportive learning environment
About You
We are looking for someone who is not only a strong trainer assessor, but also a mentor who understands the importance of cultural safety, flexibility, and community connection.You will bring:
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or higher)
  • A Diploma (or higher) qualification in Health or a related field
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Health Trainer and Assessor
  • Strong knowledge of the CHC Training Package
  • Experience supporting learners from diverse backgrounds, with an ability to adapt training to meet varying needs
  • A commitment to Aboriginal health, self-determination, and community control
Highly regarded:
  • Experience working in the Aboriginal Community Controlled or Not-for-Profit sector
  • Cultural knowledge and/or lived experience as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person
  • Understanding of LGBTQIASB+ inclusion and respect for diverse identities
