Our 2000 local experts, backed by our global experience and network of partners, are working to solve the world’s toughest challenges in government, intelligence, defence, aviation, border protection and health markets.Your New Role and ResponsibilitiesAt Leidos Australia, our Matrix Engineering Team is a hub of technical excellence, supporting mission-critical programs across Defence, Intelligence, and Federal Government portfolios.We are seeking an experienced Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of complex systems in secure environments.As a Senior V&V Engineer, you will:

Develop and implement V&V frameworks, plans, and procedures to ensure compliance with Defence and Federal standards.
Analyse customer needs and convert them into robust system test strategies.
Coordinate and execute V&V activities across system and component levels for mission-critical applications.
Conduct defect analysis, troubleshoot issues, and deliver comprehensive test reports.
Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align testing activities with project objectives and goals.

What You’ll Bring to Make an Impact

Proven Experience: in Systems or Test Engineering, ideally within Defence or Federal Government projects.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of V&V methodologies, Systems Engineering lifecycle, and tools such as ALM or Jira.
Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with Data Centre Infrastructure and enterprise applications; Defence experience highly regarded.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and produce clear, concise documentation.
