The Mental Health Clinician will provide mental health assessments, case management, and clinical interventions for children and young people, who present with mental health difficulties, and their families. The position is part of a multidisciplinary team that has access to ongoing professional development as well as regular clinical and professional supervision. We are a growing and dynamic team, who are dedicated to high quality care and supporting one another.About youTo be successful in this role you will possess
  • Current professional registration with AHPRA or membership/eligibility for membership of the AASW.
  • Ability to engage with, complete mental health assessments for, and deliver therapeutic interventions to with children and young people, within the context of their families, who are experiencing significant mental health difficulties.
  • Highly developed skills in interpersonal communication and multi-disciplinary team work.
  • A strong commitment to high quality, evidenced based mental health care for infants, children, young people, and their families.
  • Some experience in the mental health sector.
  • A desire to be innovate and creative in how clinical work is delivered,
  • A strong commitment to high quality care.
  • The ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Willingness to participate in regular clinical and professional supervision.
  • Excellent communication, organisational skills, and enjoyment of continuous learning.
