A Federal Government agency is seeking a highly skilled Labour Hire Contractor to support its global remuneration team. This role is critical in delivering annual remuneration reviews for locally engaged staff across 100+ international locations.
You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing a global salary analysis model, conducting remuneration reviews, and providing strategic advice to stakeholders. The role demands high-level expertise in HR, accounting, Excel (including PowerQuery), and economic data analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesRemuneration Review & Analysis
- Conduct annual reviews of salary scales and benefits across 100+ international offices.
- Apply actuarial and market intelligence to determine salary adjustments.
- Ensure consistency, defensibility, and strategic alignment of remuneration decisions.
- Address special measures in complex locations (e.g. hyperinflation, political instability).
- Maintain and enhance an Excel-based remuneration analysis model.
- Perform annual data rollovers, remap PowerQuery connections, and validate formulas.
- Implement usability and performance improvements to support scalability.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of all data inputs.
- Document assumptions, methodologies, and rationale for audit and approval.
- Maintain data-sharing arrangements with like-minded organisations.
- Lead procurement of remuneration data from external suppliers.
- Integrate market data into the model for comparative analysis.
- Collaborate with senior staff and international office leads.
- Incorporate local context into salary decisions.
- Provide strategic advice in complex environments.
- Manage the annual data survey process across international offices.
- Track and validate survey returns for accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide high-level advice on remuneration strategy and methodology.
- Contribute to quality assurance, case reviews, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and manage risks related to remuneration and data integrity.
- Represent the agency in engagements with external providers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external professionals to resolve complex assessments.
Applicants are required to hold Australian Citizenship at time of application and hold a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance. Candidates who do not currently hold a Negative Vetting 1 must be able to obtain and maintain this level of clearance.You are a detail-oriented professional with:
- Expertise in HR, accounting, or economic data analysis
- Advanced Excel skills (including PowerQuery)
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking
- Experience in government or international remuneration frameworks (preferred)
- Australian Citizen (Mandatory)
- Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Security Clearance
