
Service Technician - Leading Hand

- Follow and comply with Epiroc policies and procedures and maintain a high safety standard at all times
- Identify and coordinate parts required for works and responsible for inwards/outwards goods
- Mentoring and on the job coaching for Apprentices
- Assist with the supervision of day to day workshop operations
- Carry out planning of toolbox and pre-start meetings, and execute actions as designated
- Oversee works and liaise with Supervisors on progress
- Monitor allocated registers and assist with various reporting and document support
- Oversee branch inventory in accordance with company policy consistent with contract requirements and regular stock level reviews
- Support the upkeep of the yard structure and layout
- Help maintain a culture which encourages teamwork and collaboration
- Mechanical trade qualifications
- Leadership experience/ability and exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Extensive experience in the maintenance/breakdown repairs of surface/underground mining equipment
- Demonstrated hydraulic, pneumatic, Can bus & low voltage electrical diagnostics experience
- LF Forklift with Rigging and Dogging licences highly recommended
- Positive attitude and autonomous self-management ability
- Proficient computer literacy
- A valid driver's license
