
Client Solutions Salesforce Engineer/Architect

- Working with customers, our product teams, and other Architects, particularly on larger sales opportunities, to define requirements and specifying optimum
- demonstrations for solutions using Salesforce E&U as a CRM interface to Gentrack products for energy and utilities customers.
- Building, extending, and enhancing our demonstration suite of Salesforce CRM solutions for customers in the utilities space for both general and RFP response purposes
- Deploying and managing addirtional capability using AgentForce, Experience Cloud, Serivce Cloud Voice, and Data Cloud)
- Participating in discovery activities pre-sales and including post-sales where required.
- Staying up to date on industry trends in Salesforce and utilities sectors
- Ability to leverage broader Salesforce solution benefits to unlock value from Gentrack’s integrations including sales, service, analytics, AI, and other Salesforce solutions.
- Supporting pre-sales Salesforce E&U & other core Sales/Service (incl. AgentForce, Experiecen Cloud, etc.) environments and demonstration capabilities including building for the future and for re-use.
- Maintaining current knowledge of Gentrack business plans, product and future developments
- Providing technical and product consulting both internally and externally
- Technical architecture and review of Salesforce E&U and Gentrack solutions for use in cost estimation
- Ongoing CPD as appropriate
- Significant input into preparing project demonstrations & valued-based proposals as required including RFP responses and architecture reviews
- Customer-facing presentations, demonstrations, and requirements gathering and alignment to OOTB product and gap analysis via discovery-based activities.
- Industry event attendance
- Contributing towards long-term business relationships between Gentrack and customers
- Promoting Gentrack’s products and solutions to customers and endorsing best practise amongst the Gentrack user group
- Reviewing solutions for compliance to product architecture and documenting outcomes
- This role entails both domestic and some international travel
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Salesforce including system/solution engineering/architecture level roles and/or system integration of large implementation projects with a demonstrated track record with Salesforce and particularly Salesforce E&U (or relevant industries cloud) in an energy or utilities context strongly preferred, along with Salesforce sand and service cloud (core) platform knowledge in a call center context.
- Systems integration of Salesforce E&U (or industries cloud) solutions in software development with a focus on billing, call center operations, and customer engagement within a Salesforce ecosystem (with associated call center and customer service operations Salesforce Cloud experience)
- Industry knowledge in Energy and Utilities space including typical workflows, data concepts, and retailer operations including call center operations experience.
- Salesforce E&U or industries cloud experience required, and experience with other call-center centric solutions including IVR and WFM strongly valued)
- Relevant Salesforce certifications (Application, B2C, or B2B) held or study plan/partial competency underway strongly preferred including E&U/industries cloud toolchains (flex card, omniscript) also and Flow/LWC creation.
