Software Engineers, Various Sites, 12 Months

• Design, build, and secure software components aligned with modern DevSecOps practices
• Implement secure-by-design principles across development lifecycles
• Apply test-driven development and ensure robust code coverage
• Work closely with platform engineers, architects, and security teams to develop scalable, cloud-native systems
• Manage “as code” configurations and apply change control mechanisms
• Resolve bugs, refine development pipelines, and contribute to codebase sustainability

• SFIA Level 4–5 in Software Engineering
• Strong background in secure software development practices
• Experience designing, constructing, and maintaining software applications
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and version control (e.g., Git)
• Proven track record in Agile, DevSecOps, or continuous delivery environments
• Ability to write and maintain secure, scalable code with a data-centric approach

• Exposure to AI/ML applications and infrastructure
• Experience in Defence, secure networks, or air-gapped environments
• Understanding of test automation, infrastructure as code, and container orchestration platforms
