This includes rotations through our 9 bed Birthing Suite and 24 bed Postnatal Unit, Maternity Assessment Unit and Pregnancy Day stay.

Form an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team and provide highly responsive and flexible care to women and their families ensuring a holistic approach

Flexibility required across the 24-hour rotational roster

We are seeking AMUM's who contribute to and support the strategic direction and management of the Maternity Services.

Recent AMUM experience desirable
Positive proactive leadership and role modelling
The role supports the Midwifery Unit Managers and the wider midwifery team. The ability to work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team is essential
Promote excellence in clinical practice and woman centred care
Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Minimum 3 years Midwifery experience
Level 3 RANZCOG

Demonstrate credentialing for other clinical skills including IV cannulation, suturing and newborn discharge examination
A commitment to women centred care
