It remains one of the nation's most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.The primary purpose of the role is to be a clinical specialist within a given modality area i.e. Radiology at Institute of Rheumatology & Orthopaedics (IRO X-RAY) utilising clinical expertise in musculoskeletal imaging. To assist the General Section manager radiographer in the orientation and training of radiographers (Medical Radiation Scientist) and Medical Radiation Scientist students in the speciality of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics. To oversee the co-ordination of workflow from clinical areas/departments (including theatres at IRO), inpatients and outpatients to ensure maximum throughput and utilisation within a given work area.For more information, please view the .Ideal Candidate
  • Degree in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent.
  • Holder of NSW EPA Radiation Licence and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Possess extensive knowledge, expertise and experience within the area of specialisation (Orthopaedics) including procedures and associated imaging equipment.
