- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, both urgent and routine, for individuals in acute mental health episodes.
- Collaborate with consumers and carers to develop safety plans and deliver high-quality, evidence-based holistic treatment, incorporating both pharmacological and therapeutic interventions.
- Utilise a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive framework to guide your practice and decision-making processes.
- Embrace a recovery-oriented care model, working closely with consumers who are experts in their own recovery journey and incorporating the perspectives of families and carers.
- Engage actively with the multidisciplinary team, contributing to clinical and therapeutic interventions, and supporting the implementation of the Optimal Health Program.
- Provide care and support to consumers across community and bed-based services, throughout their mental health journey.
- Undertake duties as part of a 7-day roster, including afternoon shifts, and report to the 0-25yrs+ Clinical Lead and on-site Team Manager.Requirements:
- Registered Nurse Division
- Degree in Occupational Therapy, with current registration with AHPRA or Appropriate post graduate qualification in Psychology, with current registration with AHPRA or Degree or Diploma in Social Work, with eligibility or other qualification acceptable for membership to AASW or Bachelor of Speech Pathology, or equivalent, with eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia. Experience in the provision of Speech Pathology clinical services

- Current driver's licence
- Minimum 2 years post registration experience in Mental Health field, OR 2 years’ experience working with children either in the educational setting or with an agency
