- Contribute to the detailed design, development, and documentation of Data Products under the guidance of the Project Lead.
- Collaborate closely with Data Modelling Leads, fellow Data Engineers, Test/QA, and Business Analysts to co-design, co-develop, and test data products.
- Optimise and troubleshoot data pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Engage with Product Owners and Data Reference Groups to analyse requirements and deliver solutions aligned to data governance, architecture, and security standards.
- Keep up to date with data engineering best practices and emerging trends, especially within Microsoft Fabric.
- Critical thinking skills understanding the value of Data Products to meet organisational goals, especially in the highly regulated Healthcare sector.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Python and SQL
- Experience of agile and DevOps practices.
- Excellent collaborator, communicator and team player with a commitment to learning new skills.
- Experience with health data analysis and engineering.
- Experience in PySpark.
