TAFE SA is looking for an experienced Project Officer. You will engage with staff across Student Engagement and Customer Service provide administrative support, advice and project skills to support the working group to deliver a range of initiatives and technology projects supporting operational and strategic goals. The Project Officer provides expert advice on the planning, scoping, execution and monitoring of projects within the Student Engagement and Customer Service department. The Project Officer works under limited direction to deliver advice related to the activities of the Student Engagement and Customer Service and broader Student Experience directorate.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at managing complex workflows, this role is for you.Key Selection Criteria:
- Highly developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to develop operative networks, provide sound, well-formulated written and verbal advice, reports and briefings to senior management and communicate and negotiate with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience developing, scoping, managing, and delivering projects or workflows in complex environments, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Demonstrated experience with multiple technology systems, user testing and training including high proficiency in Microsoft Office 360 suite products.
- Demonstrated ability to deploy professional integrity and tact in handling confidential matters.
- Advanced problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities, fostering collaboration to achieve shared goals.
- High level skills in the provision of data and information and the ability to analyse, evaluate and provide recommendations to senior management.
- Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal Culture and Community.
- Qualifications in Business, Change or Project Management is highly desirable.
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
- Some out of hours work will be required.
- Some intra/interstate travel and overnight absences may be required.
- Incumbent will be required to participate in the department’s Performance Development Program
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
