-We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officer for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2025. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.Success PS is located in the City of Cockburn. Approximately 583 students are enrolled in our school, with 72 students enrolled in our education support program and 511 in our mainstream program. Approximately 20% of children come from homes where English is an Additional Language (EAL/D). We are proud of our strong and supportive school community, who work in partnership with staff to empower our learners to thrive through quality, inclusive education.Find out more about our school by visiting orThe RoleThe School Officer is responsible for reception duties, including greeting visitors, answering the telephone, and responding to routine enquiries and requests for information in an efficient and friendly manner. They provide general clerical and administrative support, including preparing correspondence, newsletters, notices, and other materials in a timely manner.They also distribute and collect documents, forms, and mail, collect and receipt monies, operate and maintain office equipment, input data and generate reports, arrange catering for school functions, make travel arrangements for staff, assist with maintenance of school facilities, and support student-related activities such as maintaining attendance records and assisting with student enrolment procedures. - Demonstrated experience in providing effective administrative support with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in financial processes and procedures, including the handling of debtors, creditors, reconciliations, and /or preparing financial returns.
- Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
