
Mid-Senior Ecologist

- Work on diverse and exciting projects across NSW, delivering high-quality ecological assessments and practical environmental solutions for clients
- Undertake ecological field surveys and assessments in a range of landscapes and conditions
- Prepare high-quality proposals, reports and management plans
- Contribute to project management, client liaison and internal collaboration

- A tertiary qualification in Ecology (Zoology, Botany), Environmental Science or a related field
- 3+ years of ecological experience (e.g. consulting, research, industry)
- Working knowledge of State and Commonwealth environmental legislation - bonus points for experience working under the NSW Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM)
- Experience planning, coordinating and conducting ecological fieldwork
- Demonstrated proficiency in report writing (e.g. monitoring, assessment, management plans)
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong GIS skills are desirable
- Project coordination and relationship-building abilities
- A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel for fieldwork.
