From environmental impact assessment to stakeholder engagement and future planning, you’ll be part of something purposeful - while building your expertise across diverse, exciting project stages.The Central West Region of NSW is undergoing a period of transformative growth, with the Central West Renewable Energy Zone, resource project expansions, urban expansion and infrastructure development. This could be your chance to make your mark and contribute to positive environmental outcomes at this pivotal point in NSW history.About youWe’re looking for someone with:
  • A degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Management or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in consulting or related environmental work
  • A solid understanding (or strong awareness) of NSW and Commonwealth environmental legislation - especially the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and sharp attention to detail
  • A self-starter mindset with strong time management and teamwork capabilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience in GIS is desirable, although not essential
  • A genuine enthusiasm for environmental work and a collaborative approach
  • A current driver’s licence.
