- Initial contract until 30th Sept 2025 with possible extension paying approx $1k/day
- Brisbane CBD Location with flexibility to WFH 2-3 days per week
- Develop and support the Project Manager and other team members in developing business and technical documents in scope (including but not limited to research and literature reviews, investment concept briefs, business cases, issues and options papers, advice briefing notes, engagement and work package documentation, procurement documentation, business requirements specifications (BRS), requirements management strategy/plan and system and end-to-end test plans/scripts/reports).
- Provide an overall, strong central documentation capability for the project.
- Initiate, influence and maintain relationships both within the team and with identified internal and external stakeholders and delivery partners.
- Provide expert business analysis advice and support to the Project Manager and other team members as well as relevant statewide governance groups.
- Lead the elicitation and development of business, functional and non-functional requirements.
- Analyse business requirements and apply critical thinking skills to support the identification of potential solution options and develop solution assessment criteria for the evaluation of identified solution options.
- Manage requirements (including traceability) from procurement to deployment/implementation.
- Oversee, manage and execute business process modelling activities and deliverables to ensure compliance with standards and business process modelling notation (BPMN) requirements.
- Previous experience as a Business/Technical Business Analyst within a large healthcare organisation (preferably with a strong understanding of Demand Management, Capacity Management and ICT systems and infrastructure).
- Strong negotiation, consultation and communication skills, with experience in facilitating workshops within a large scale, complex, geographically dispersed environment.
- Strong written documentation skills.
- Experience in engaging and managing stakeholder groups, both formally and informally.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities to quickly identify and resolve business and technology challenges in response to business and technical requirements.
- End-to-end experience working on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) ICT Implementation projects, or similar.
- Strong BPMN skills and demonstrable experience in establishing target and future state business process models.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary project team.
- Relevant tertiary and/or Business Analysis qualifications and/or methodologies is desirable (e.g., IIBA, BABOK, PRINCE2, Agile, ITIL).
