This is a broad and hands-on Accountant position, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. You will play a key role in both financial and management accounting, supporting the business through its next phase of growth. The role requires a positive, solutions-focused professional who enjoys being proactive and driving improvements.Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, journals, reconciliations, and reporting packs.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support end-of-month and year-end processes in line with statutory requirements.
- Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights and problem-solving support.
- Continuous improvement of financial systems, controls, and processes.
- CPA or CA qualified accountant.
- Experience in both financial and management accounting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, “front-footed” approach.
- Excellent communication and ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders.
- Flexible and adaptable, with an eagerness to contribute to a growing business.
- Salary circa $100,000 + super.
