As an industry leader and employer of choice, we're Made for More.About the roleAre you passionate about heavy machinery and eager to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment?WesTrac is seeking TWO Field Service Plant Mechanics to join our team and support our New Machines Workshop in delivering, commissioning, and handing over New Machines. As a Field Service Plant Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our mining customers across NSW, ensuring a seamless delivery and handover process for all machines.Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, this role will see you utilising your product knowledge and advanced diagnostic skills to offer high-end support to our customers with service and breakdown solutions.As a Field Service Plant Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and the successful implementation of CAT machinery in the mining industry. As a successful applicant, you will play a vital role in the construction of a large range of CAT assets including 301.8 excavators, fleet of Off-Highway Truck (OHTs) fleets, and Dozers. Your extensive technical skills and expertise will be utilised to ensure the highest level of workmanship in a safety-conscious environment.Roster and Remuneration!

Monday to Thursday (48-hour week)
Roster Pattern: 4D3O - 12.5 hours shifts
Day Shift ONLY: 06:00AM to 18:30PM
Circa $125k + Super + OT + Ute

Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent.
Familiar with Caterpillar Equipment or similar branding.
OEM Experience (highly desirable).
Exposure to SIS or ET (highly desirable).
Excellent diagnostic and repair skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure deliveries are made on time and to customer standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously in the field and in a team.
Current Licence.
