
IT Helpdesk Administrator

- Monitor Service Desk ticket queries to ensure service levels are maintained;
- Resolve end user issues or escalate as required;
- Support the Service Delivery Manager in the identification of trends and work to remediate recurring problems;
- Build relationships to better support with any service desk incidents;
- Develop operational policies, practices, and system documentation;
- Manage expectations of users and uphold consistent communication;
- Take part in various technology deployment projects to support continual improvement;
- Keep up to date with network and desktop changes; and
- Provide reporting to the SDM on a weekly basis and ad-hoc when required;
- Provide support from MILVEHCOE and other QLD sites when required; and
- Support the business via the RDA Tech Bar.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications supporting client Operating Systems;
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in the IT sector;
- Customer Service focuses with strong attention to detail;
- Strong time-management skills;
- Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required;
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
