Key Responsibilities

Design and develop plastic packaging products (bottles, closures, films, containers) from concept through to production.
Support order processing flow and help implement improved systems and documentation.
Translate customer requirements into manufacturable designs using simulation tools.
Collaborate with manufacturing, tooling, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and refine processes.
Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective actions on product and quality issues.
Engage in continuous improvement work, including value stream analysis and process gap identification.
Lead or support projects across blow molding, injection molding, extrusion and thermoforming.
Create and maintain documentation including BOMs, technical drawings, test plans, and change control records.
Split time between lab/office and production (approx. 50/50).

Key Requirements

3+ years' experience in engineering roles within manufacturing (plastics, FMCG, food, or medical preferred).
Relevant engineering qualification: mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or similar.
Hands-on experience across production environments including troubleshooting, floor engagement, and cross-functional teamwork.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to lead documentation, quality tracking, and change control.

Nice to Have

Experience with Microvu, CMM machines, or similar metrology tools.
Lean, Six Sigma, or value stream mapping exposure.
Knowledge of injection/blow molding or extrusion processes.
Experience working in both product development and quality.
