- Design and develop plastic packaging products (bottles, closures, films, containers) from concept through to production.
- Support order processing flow and help implement improved systems and documentation.
- Translate customer requirements into manufacturable designs using simulation tools.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, tooling, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and refine processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective actions on product and quality issues.
- Engage in continuous improvement work, including value stream analysis and process gap identification.
- Lead or support projects across blow molding, injection molding, extrusion and thermoforming.
- Create and maintain documentation including BOMs, technical drawings, test plans, and change control records.
- Split time between lab/office and production (approx. 50/50).
- 3+ years' experience in engineering roles within manufacturing (plastics, FMCG, food, or medical preferred).
- Relevant engineering qualification: mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or similar.
- Hands-on experience across production environments including troubleshooting, floor engagement, and cross-functional teamwork.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to lead documentation, quality tracking, and change control.

- Experience with Microvu, CMM machines, or similar metrology tools.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or value stream mapping exposure.
- Knowledge of injection/blow molding or extrusion processes.
