In this role you'll be supporting individuals with brain injuries and their families through social work services in a multidisciplinary team, working across home, community and centre-based settings.Providing psychosocial assessment and counsellingCollaborating with allied health professionalsLiaising with external care providersMaintaining clinical records and reportingSupervising students and contributing to service planningHow to Apply
Apply online by submitting your resume and addressing the criteria listed below by providing examples that demonstrate your ability before the closing date.Essential Criteria:Registration: Eligibility for full practicing membership of the Australia Association of Social Work (AASW)Selection Criteria:Demonstrated advanced knowledge, skills and experience in social work assessment and intervention, within a specialist rehabilitation or mental health (recovery) setting.Demonstrated understanding of community based brain injury rehabilitation.Experience working in strengths-based practice, as well as family and person centred approaches.Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.Demonstrated well-developed time management skills with excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing skills.Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stake holders throughout all organisational levels.Ability to initiate, lead, complete and implement quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff.Current Unrestricted NSW Driver's LicenceRequisition ID: REQ603580
