- Inspire, lead, and develop the kitchen brigade-supporting their growth and professional development.
- Maintain a safe and compliant kitchen in line with council regulations and internal policies.
- Manage rosters efficiently to deliver high service standards while meeting wage budgets.
- Deliver consistently high-quality food during both peak and off-peak periods-even in your absence.
- Develop and refresh seasonal menus for both à la carte dining and functions.
- Follow HR procedures around recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
- Work closely with the Venue Manager to support key functions, activations, and promotions.
- A strong background in pub-style à la carte service and function catering
- A knack for elevating the classics with fresh ideas and flavours
- Experience leading and mentoring kitchen teams
- A positive, solutions-focused attitude and a collaborative leadership style
- Formal culinary qualifications
- A love of great food, a strong sense of team, and an eye for quality
