About the roleWe’re looking for a motivated finance professional to join our Finance Operations team, working closely with the Senior Finance Manager. In this role, you’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team that takes care of the operational finance needs for our Direct and Intermediate businesses, including Accounts Payable and Credit Control.This is a role where you’ll gain exposure across multiple parts of the business, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements that make a real difference.What you’ll be doing:
  • Take ownership of month-end processes — preparing and posting journal entries, ensuring accuracy in the general ledger, and supporting Australia and New Zealand operations.
  • Deliver balance sheet reconciliations and reporting, while driving improvements for stronger controls and efficiency.
  • Work closely with business partners to provide accurate and timely reconciliations and financial data.
  • Prepare cashbooks and monthly bank reconciliations for underwriting facilities.
  • Monitor bank account activity, support cashflow forecasting and provide insights to help decision-making.
  • Review premium debtors each month and provide analysis that adds value to the business.

About You
  • You bring solid financial accounting experience, ideally within financial services.
  • CA/CPA qualified, or on the pathway to completion.
  • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights.
  • Strong communication skills — you’re just as comfortable preparing reports as you are working with stakeholders.
  • Exposure to the insurance or broader financial services industry is a bonus
