Job Category: General AccountingJob Description:DP World is looking for an experienced and detail-driven Financial Accountant to oversee and manage the financial accounting activities across our non-operating entities. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial data to support informed strategic decision-making.Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, you will take ownership of preparing accurate Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets, while also helping to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvements in financial processes.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, global logistics environment where your expertise will directly impact financial performance and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities :Prepare, reconcile, and consolidate monthly BAS returns (GST, Fuel Excise, PAYG, FBT, etc.) for group companies, ensuring timely submission to the ATOAssist in the preparation of annual FBT returnsSupport the preparation of yearly tax schedules and tax-effect accountingCoordinate and prepare accurate monthly financial reportsMonitor and analyse the financial results of the entitiesPreparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecastsPerform monthly reconciliations of the general ledger and intercompany accountsAssist with year-end account preparation and resolve any audit-related issuesQualifications, Skills and Experience required:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, supported by a professional qualification such as CPA or CA.Experience in an accounting role within a freight forwarding or multinational logistics organisation highly preferred.3-5 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting, with a solid track record of accuracy and compliance.Prior experience with statutory reporting and group consolidations is advantageous.Familiarity with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems is a strong plus.Solid understanding of accounting processes and systems within a fast-paced operational environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel for financial analysis and reporting.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.About DP WorldTrade is the lifeblood of the global economy, creating opportunities and improving the quality of life for people around the world.
