CompanySiemens Ltd.OrganizationTransformation of IndustryBusiness UnitCompressionFull / Part timeFull-timeExperience LevelExperienced ProfessionalA Snapshot of Your DayYou will be located in and working for our Tonsley Service Centre, which is a state of the art turbine and compressor repair facility.As a Client Manager, you will drive and coordinate all client activity during the various project development phases of an opportunity to deliver successful sales campaigns and customized repairs for Steam Turbines and Compressors in Oil & Gas, Mining, Industrial and Power Generation market segments. We are looking for an experienced Sales Professional who will actively manage a designated account base creating business opportunities and drive customer satisfaction for the Tonsley Service Centre.In this role, you will be expected to liaise with the customers Engineering, Operation and Maintenance teams to ensure proactive business development, manage the respective relationships and develop and implement the project sales strategies to secure orders for Tonsley Service Centre.How You'll Make an Impact:The areas of responsibilities cover the following:
  • Drive sales growth for Tonsley Service Centre.
  • Manage select accounts that are key to the success of Tonsley Service Centre.
  • Collaborate with, and support, Client managers to secure repair opportunities for Tonsley Service Centre.
  • Use your key interpersonal and inquisitive skills to continuously build your customer knowledge to expand and create opportunities in new markets.
  • Enhance Customer relationships and satisfaction with Siemens Energy.
  • Play a key role in developing and promoting campaigns and strategies to drive sales.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop repair proposals and present them to the Customer with a winning value proposition.
  • Maintain timely market and competition situation analysis.
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree of Science in Engineering required or a minimum 5 years of technical experience in energy industry. Sales and business development experience will serve you well.
  • Strong technical understanding of rotating equipment, with experience on steam turbines and compressors is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and interact with all levels within customer organization, strong analytical and strategic thinker with a focus on technical differentiation and value selling.
  • Strong passion and proven success in achieving profitable business growth.
  • Good understanding of the oil & gas and industrial market in Australia and extensive relationships across the customer organizations.
  • Distinct customer orientation, strong customer interface skills.
  • Demonstrable evidence of successful projects or service business execution and contract negotiation.
  • Team player who can influence and collaborate with multiple external and internal stakeholders.
  • Must be willing to travel.
