Experience with motor light & heavy, property, liability, marine, travel well regarded.SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOUR NEW THE ROLE WILL ENTAILFull details will be provided in detail at the client interview but will include - to ensure timely and favourable settlement of claims; keeping clients informed of status of claims in a timely manner; liaise with underwriters, assessors, legal advisers to achieve settlement; ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and industry codes; using claim settlement as a marketing tool; develop and maintain an appropriate knowledge of insurance; keep management and others informed appropriately as required about work; lead, motivate, counsel and assist with staff development; use personal effectiveness techniques at a level appropriate to the position; any and all other duties.WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITHReports to the Claims Manager and works with friendly efficient team.VITAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLEYou will need to have some exposure to motor [both heavy & light], property [including Landlord & Farm], liability, marine transit & travel.ESSENTIAL SKILLS & SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGEGreat written and verbal communication skills, plus intermediate Microsoft office knowledgeYOUR NEW COMPANYLocated in the CBD close to transport hubs.YOU NEED TO HAVE FULL AUSTRALIAN WORK RIGHTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.
