- Coordinate and support daily operations of the Rangers team, including task allocation, onboarding, mentoring and performance monitoring.
- Ensure consistent and compliant service delivery by delivering training, identifying skill gaps and reinforcing operational standards.
- Interpret and apply policies, procedures and relevant legislation to guide day-to-day team activities and decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with the Team Leader – Rangers to drive team culture, performance and continuous improvement through regular coaching and feedback.
- Provide out-of-hours support and undertake occasional weekend or night duties as required to meet operational demands.

- Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Services), Government Investigations or a related qualification.
- Extensive experience supporting operational teams in a regulatory environment, including task coordination, guidance and frontline issue resolution.
- Proven ability to mentor and train staff in the application of policies, procedures and legislation, fostering compliance and confidence in service delivery.
- Skilled in developing and refining operational procedures, policies and resources to promote consistency and efficiency across teams.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, with a demonstrated capacity to apply it effectively in investigations, operational decisions and customer interactions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, supported by proficiency in Microsoft Office and task management systems, and a current Class C Driver’s Licence.
