We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Fitters to join one of our manufacturing clients based in Melbourne's South East/Eastern suburbs. These roles is available on day or afternoon shift and offers the opportunity to work in a clean, organised, and safety-focused environmentThe position will involve performing preventative and reactive / breakdown maintenance, providing general technical support to the manufacturing site, as well as some machinery installation / relocation.To be successful in this position, you will be expected to demonstrate:
  • Trade qualifications in an Engineering stream or similar
  • Previous experience in performing project work, as well as planned and reactive maintenance in a Manufacturing/Industrial environment
  • Basic computer skills (MS Outlook, Web browser etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings and basic welding skills
  • Strong commitment towards WHS, excellent troubleshooting skills with analytical thinking and a logical decision-making ability
