Civil Leading Hand - Multiple Locations

• Supervise and manage a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and tradespeople.
• Coordinate project activities, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Interpret and implement project plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the construction process.
• Conduct regular site inspections and provide progress reports to the project manager.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise on-site promptly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Operating plant and on the ground when required

• Proven experience as a Civil Leading Hand or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in using construction software and tools.
• Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality results.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
• Machine operating tickets & construction white card required
