- Refining our strategy and market positioning, building partnerships with established players in the market who can both benefit from and contribute to our success.
- Building and converting a pipeline of opportunities for the AC1 (and future products) with leading renewable energy developers, power utilities, and large C&I organisations.
- Selling our unique value proposition during complex technical and commercial procurement processes to win against established conventional BESS competitors.
- Ensuring that we deliver on our promise of ‘More energy’, working with leadership to build our project delivery, asset operations and customer success capabilities.
- Thinking critically (and creatively, we hope) to identify better ways to deliver value to customers, including novel project finance and energy services models that leverage our unique technology advantages to give customers better financial returns from storage.
- Work with our Marcomm team to define, manage, and execute the right marketing plan for Australia (brand building and demand generation).
- Work closely with our Product team to ensure that the needs of the Australian customer are fully considered within our product roadmap.
- Demonstrated experience in renewable energy development (ideally in BESS) and/or significant experience in selling and delivering complex C&I energy projects.
- A deep understanding of the practicalities of renewable energy projects from the perspective of a developer, a financier/owner, a C&I business or an OEM (PV or BESS).
- Proven ability to get jobs done – achieving ambitious objectives, closing complex deals, and a track record of hitting business development targets.
- Experience working in a small team where resourcefulness and problem-solving have been paramount (e.g. within startup / scaleup situations, or as part of a small local team within a large overseas firm).
- A strong existing network in the Australian renewable energy ecosystem.
