- Product Ownership: Oversee the development and management of merchant-facing Sales Finance offer mechanics, including interest-free finance, promotional mechanics, and emerging embedded finance constructs.
- P&L management: driving the Sales Finance offers’ financial performance, including revenue generation, cost control, and profit margins as well as understanding credit performance sensitivity
- Partner Enablement: Translate complex product, pricing, and operational features into simple, usable tools and materials for partner-facing teams and merchants.
- Pricing & Yield Optimisation: Lead the design and maintenance of MSF pricing frameworks and promotional pricing, working closely with the Pricing & Analytics Manager to maximise yield and commercial outcomes.
- Performance Insights: Ensure robust analytics and reporting frameworks are in place to track performance across partners, plans, campaigns, and product types — and take action to improve.
- Operational Excellence: In conjunction with the Head of Operational Excellence Pay, uplift Line 1 risk practices, controls, documentation, and execution across partner-facing processes
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the internal integrator across Sales, Product, Risk, Tech, and Legal to ensure new initiatives are built, launched, and managed with discipline.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of functional leads across Product, Pricing, Analytics, Marketing, and Ops.
- 10+ years of experience in product, commercial, or operational leadership roles in financial services, fintech, payments, or partner-led lending businesses.
- Deep understanding of consumer credit products and partner-distributed go-to-market models in retail.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver results in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
- Commercially sharp and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance revenue goals, partner needs, and risk controls.
