- Manage and maintain General Ledger (GL) accounts including journal entries, month-end closing, and account analysis
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Ensure timely and accurate BAS, WHT, FBT and other statutory filings in compliance with Australian taxation and regulatory standards
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring deadlines are met with high accuracy
- Assist with forecast and budget
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and automation within the finance function
- Maintain and update accounting policies in line with changes in legislation and business needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CA/CPA qualification preferred
- 3 - 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within a mid to large-sized organization
- Strong hands-on experience with General Ledger (GL) accounting and reconciliations
- Sound knowledge of Australian tax regulations and compliance (GST, WHT, PAYG, Superannuation, etc.)
- Previous experience using Oracle or another large ERP platform an advantage
- Proficiency with MS Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
