ABOUT THE COMPANY.Local Council based in Northern Sydney. Join an established team working alongside well-experienced Management Accountants. Council is seeking an experienced Systems & Management Accountant with Local Council, TechOne & annual budget preparation experience.ABOUT THE POSITION.An initial 3-month opportunity with potential to transition into a permanent role. Reporting to the Strategic Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the budgeting, forecasting and preparation of the annual budget, quarterly budget, and financial analysis and more.DUTIES.

Preparation of the annual & quarterly budgets for Council
Monitor of all financial systems
Resolve system issues with internal/ external suppliers
QBRS, long-term financial planning & IPR reporting
Cost evaluation, financial analysis & more

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

Currently CPA/CA qualified or due for completion
Expertise in QBRS & IPR reporting
Demonstrated experience with financial plans & annual budget preparation
Proficient with Technology One System or similar ERP system
Previous experience with Local Government is preferred

REMUNERATION.$55 - $60 p/h + SuperannuationCULTURE.Your team encourages collaboration and seeks an individual with demonstrated experience to hit the ground running.
